Want a pattern that will give you on trend looks without going out of style the next year? The Modern Sweater is the perfect comination of modern looks with classic options too. You can choose from the on trend lantern sleeves or go with the traditional sleeves. Pick from crop lengths that is all the rage right now with high waisted bottoms or go for the never out of style shirt length. You can add on a short or tall waistband a get more variety on length as well. The crop with tall waistband gives you more coverage while keeping the blouse at the flattering point in your figure…while adding it to the shirt length will give you more of a tunic length. The neckline options can give you very different looks and can take you from fall into winter. The neckline is slightly deeper and wider that a traditional crew neckline, which is comfortable and right on trend in todays shops. The thicker neckband give it a super classic casual look. The turtleneck going from that deeper neckline up the neck is such a cute look. While you can’t get cozier than the fold over turtleneck for keeping warm.
On top all these wonderful options you also get a colorblock version of every option as well. So next time you have the perfect combination of scrap fabrics for a colorblocked top you don’t have to do the work! We’ve got it all done for you here.
The Modern Sweater pattern has the perfect amount of ease through the body for a loose slouchy fit that isn’t too oversized. You can pair it with leggings, jeans, skirts, under jumpers, etc and it looks great while feeling super comfortable!
The modern sweater is drafted for all those cozy knits that make you think sweater. Our favorites are waffle knit, sweater knit, french terry, cheneille, ribbed knits and the like. The neckband and turtleneck options both need high stretch like rayon spandex, ribbed knits, waffle knits and sweater knits.

Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X, Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X (sizing/measurement chart on last picture). Both imperial and metric measurements included. You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM PAGES and have LAYERS so you can print only the size you need. In US letter, A4, A0 paper size, and Projector file formats, a cutting guide for rectangle pieces and rectangle pattern pieces included (so you can pick your preference to print a piece or not) and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.
