Gather ’round – Bundle

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.

The Gather ’round is a cute and comfortable top and dress with so many options.  You can go from summer to winter and the looser fit means you are open to a big variety of fabrics as well.  The gathered skirts are a timeless look with a forgiving silhouette. The bodice is fitted at bust and through sleeves, but loose through underbust and waistline giving a carefree and comfortable fit.  The bodice hits between empire and natural waist for a flattering fit. Don’t love a looser waist? No worries, add on the waist ties option and cinch the waist as tight as you’d like for another silhouette within this pattern.  With so many different sleeve, neckline and length options, you can make a closet full and they will all look different.

You can pick from a rounded crew neckline or go with a v neckline.  The crew neckline can also have a gathered crew neckline or a mock turtleneck.  The sleeves have options for days as well. You can go sleeveless with a tank.  Pick short, 3/4 or long with a classic sleeve option.  Or you can add some flare with a beautiful gathered cap sleeve or a beautiful gathered long bishop sleeve.  The length options mean you can make a top to pair with your favorite bottoms or a dress.  Even the dress length has several options with a plain skirt or two tiered. Hitting above the knee this bit shorter length helps to balance out the looser fit.  You can add a third tier for a longer tea/midi length dress as well for a stunning look.  This pattern can not only take you year round, but it can be sewn up in so many different fabrics because of the looser fit.

Choose from options: rounded neckline, v neckline, gathered crew neckline, mock turtleneck, top length (between crop and shirt), tank, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, long sleeves, gathered cap sleeves, and gathered long bishop sleeves, waist ties, and pockets.

The Gather ’round is drafted for a stretch knit fabric.  Some of our favorites are: rayon/modal/bamboo knit, sweater knit, jerseys, waffle knit, french terry, ribbed knits, double brushed poly, yummy rib knit,  ITY/DTY knit, stretch velvet, cotton spandex, pointelle, etc.

In US letter, A4,  A0 copy shop , and Projector files, both rectangle pattern pieces and a cutting guide for rectangle pieces (so you can choose your preference), and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.
