This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT.
This is the perfect go to top for those casual get togethers with friends- brunch, baby or wedding showers, birthday parties, and even works great for church or work attire. It is drafted for a non-stretch apparel woven- personal favorites are rayon and polyester blends.
It is a dolman style sleeve with short sleeve, cap sleeve and tank options all included. Also includes shirt length, curved tunic length and curved dress length. We added so many fun extras into this one to help dress up your top or dress! Pick from a cute henley placket, chest pockets, waist ties for a more hourglass shape, or short sleeve cuff and button tabs.
The neckline and tank arms are finished with a single fold bias binding to the inside. The back has a center back seam for a great fit on a curvy, hourglass figure. Front includes side seam bust darts.
Here is a round up of all shapes and sizes wearing this pattern! And an album in our FB group here!
We also have a matching youth version here: Bitty Brunch Blouse
You can grab them both together here: Bundle

This top doesn’t get NEARELY enough press! I have made this (as a top) 4 times now – once with a placket and the rest without. The fit is flattering, it goes together flawlessly, and fits the niche of dressy – but not too much so. Love it!

I’m a fairly new sewist, so I was looking for an easy pattern to do my first top. This was VERY easy to follow. My only complaint is that the arm scye wasn’t great for the tank top version. As a newbie, it might have been user error… but it just felt really gappy. So, next time I make it I will probably compare that to another RTW tank that has a good armhole size and I know fits. I look forward to making the dress length next!
