Notch Top & Dress – Youth

The Notch Top & Dress- Youth pattern is a super fun and incredibly versatile pattern.  You can create a swim top, sleep shirt, training bra undershirt, everyday crop, or dress all from this pattern. With sleeve options from tank to long sleeve you’ll be covered throughout the year.  By grabbing different fabric bases you can create a stack of different crops or dresses that are great for so many events from athletics, swimming, sleeping, school, dancing and more.

The Notch Top & Dress- Youth is fitted through bodice, sleeves and waistband with the dress option flowing out to a flared skirt with some twirl.  Don’t forget the pockets for the dress option too! The neckline can be a plain scoop neckline or try out the fun detail of the notch neckline option.  The bodice and waistband are fitted, but both lined for nice coverage.  It works great for a training bra/crop for those starting to develop a curvier figure.  You can use swim knits and make a cute bikini/tankini style crop top with the tank or a rash guard style with the longer sleeves. Grab some athletic knits and make a workout top for dance, gymnastics, sports, etc.  Make it in a soft cotton, bamboo spandex for a perfect sleep top.  How about a nice sweater knit, waffle knit, ribbed knit for a cute everyday crop or dress too? This pattern offers so many looks!

The Notch Top & Dress Pattern is drafted for light-to-medium weight high stretch knit fabrics. Knit fabrics with 4 way stretch are best.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: Brushed Ribbed Knits, Ribbed Knits, Modal Knit Blends, DBP (Double Brushed Polyester Knit), Sweater Knits, Stetch Velvets, Cotton Spandex, Waffle/ Brushed Waffle Knits, etc.
