Hale Half Zip – Youth

The Hale Half Zip- Youth pattern is an a cozy pullover that is a classic wardrobe staple with fun seaming details.  Choose from hood, collar, crop, shirt length, and other options to create different looks. The zipper makes it easy to get on and off and can go from an athletic look to a nice sweater with different fabric choices.  The seaming can be fun for a solid or open up to creative fabric pairings.  The dolman style sleeve is simple to sew and gives a fun relaxed look.

The Hale Half Zip- Youth is super comfortable with the relaxed fit throughout.

The Hale Half Zip pattern is drafted for medium weight, stable knits. Stable knits mean they are not very stretchy. The cuffs and bottom band need some stretch, other pieces are okay with only mechanical stretch.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: Sweatshirt knit, french terry, double knits, quilted knits, stretch velvets/velour/etc, fleece back athletic knit, fleece, mircofleece, stable sweater knit, cuddle fabrics, etc.
