Gather ’round – Youth

This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE MAIL.

The Gather ’round- Youth is such a cute and versatile piece with countless options.  You can grab so many different fabric bases with the looser silhouette and create tops and dresses for every occasion from the warm summer to cold winter.  With all the options you’re sure to find a favorite for everyone you have to sew for.  The looser bodice give a comfortable fit, but if they prefer a snugger waist you can add on waist ties and cinch the waist.  Never forget the pockets either, they’re always a fun option.

Besides the normal tank and sleeved options you can also choose from a gathered cap sleeve or a gathered long bishop sleeve.  You can make a rounded crew neckline or v neckline.  The crew neckline also has the option of adding a gathered neckband or a mock turtleneck.  Length options include top, above knee dress and below knee dress. Within a dress you can also choose from a plain dress or a two tiered dress.

Choose from options:  crew neckline, v neckline, gathered crew neckline, mock turtleneck, tank/sleeveless, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, long sleeves, gathered cap sleeves, gathered long bishop sleeve, top length (between crop and shirt), above knee dress plain, above knee dress tiered, 3 tiered dress/below knee, waist ties and pockets.

The Gather ’round-Youth is drafted for a stretch knit fabric.  Some of our favorites are: rayon/modal/bamboo knit, sweater knit, ribbed knits, double brushed poly, rib knit, waffle knit, cotton spandex, stretch velvet, pointelle, ITY/DTY knit, jersey knit etc.
