Adventure Jacket – Bundle

The Adventure Jacket is a classic layering piece for fall and winter. You can use thinner fabrics and a silky lining for a barely there fall layer or thicker fabrics and a warm lining for a perfect winter jacket. All options are fully lined and finish beautifully on the inside and out.  There are separate front facing pieces, so you can leave your jacket unzipped and still see nothing but beautiful finishes and don’t have to worry about fluffy linings getting stuck in your zipper.

Go for crop length for a on trend look or the hip length for a timeless one.  You can pick from a collar or hood and the chest pockets make a great detail. Hip length includes the option of inseam pockets that are nice and big to fit all the things in as well as keep your hands tucked inside and warm. The bottom elastic hugs the jacket to the hip to hold in warmth… the crop length brings it in just a little for a still boxy silhouette. The cuffs can be elastic or knit and both bring in the wrist just a little to tuck in that warmth as well.  Enjoy several videos throughout the tutorial including how to shorten a zipper and install the zipper if sewing a zipper is new to you.  There is also a full sew up, mostly in real time for those who love to watch as you sew along.

• All Versions Feature a Drop-Shoulder Dolman Sleeve and are Fully Lined with Separate Front Facing Pieces.

The Adventure Jacket pattern is drafted for woven fabrics. Although you can also use a very stable knit like sweatshirt, sherpa, etc. The knit cuff option is the only piece you will need a stretch fabric for.

Specific Fabric Suggestions: Main fabrics: denim, twill, corduroy, soft shell, sweatshirt knit, micro fleece, etc. Lining fabrics: silky fabrics, cotton, flannel, french terry, sweatshirt, sherpa, fleece, etc.

Adult Sizes included: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Plus 1X, Plus 2X , Plus 3X, Plus 4X, and Plus 5X  (sizing/measurement chart on last picture). Adult sizing available alone here: Adventure Jacket

Both imperial and metric measurements included. You will receive the easy to print and match color coded pattern pieces on NO TRIM PAGES with layers! In US letter, A4,  A0 copy shop , and Projector files, both rectangle pattern pieces and a cutting guide for rectangle pieces (so you can choose your preference), and a full color and detailed picture step-by-step tutorial and guide to making the garment.
