This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial to teach you how to create these garments. THIS IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT.
This intermediate knit pattern is a traditional, tight fitting swim top with tons of options!
Includes sizes XXS-Plus 3X overbust and under bust, along with cup size cut lines from A-G cup for a great custom fit.
Options include: straight straps, criss-cross straps, plain top, straight flounce, pointed flounce, and back flounce.

This is the second time I’ve made this top, still without a wearable result. I’m thinking perhaps my fabric choices aren’t what is preferred, though the fabric was sold as swim, though it meets the stretch requirement. The top as measured was far too difficult to put on with the criss cross straps, and regular straps kept sliding off the shoulder. I think the versions others make with the pattern are super cute, it just doesn’t work for me. Be advised, be very careful with your fabric choices for this pattern, and perhaps avoid performance knits.

This was the first swim top I ever made, and it fit really well. Did the criss cross back and regular front. I thought the measurements were off….it said I was an XS overbust (so cut XS size)….cut on 2 line (essentially a B cup)…and underbust (waistband) a medium…I’m usually just a straight small in everything else…I followed the measurements and instructions…and it fit me great!

I truly hate leaving bad reviews, but the instructions and tutorial for this one were pretty terrible and the measurements are definitely off. The photo tutorial fabrics change constantly making it very difficult to figure out exactly what is going on. I measure a 38 over bust, 40 full bust and 33 under bust. I made a straight XL and cut to line 3 for the first one even though my measurements say I should cut to line 2. The result was a top that was way too short. I tried again leaving out bra cups to reduce bulk, used a lighter weight liner with more stretch and cut at line 4. Still too short (and I also only took a 1/4” seam allowance. The stretch in my fabric was correct and still I’ve wasted a ton of fabric and don’t have a wearable top.

Instructions are beyond confusing. Followed the measurements exactly for size S for my daughter and it ended up being too small.
It is a cute top, but I am very disappointed with the pattern and instructions.
