This beginner to intermediate knit pattern has a great flattering fit at the natural waist with tons of options!
Includes sleeve options of sleeveless tank, short, 3/4, and long so you can wear this year round. Has both peplum length (hits at mid-booty), mini (hitting below booty mid thigh), and at the knee (at top of knee) so you can make it appropriate for any event. Tutorial includes 3 ways of finishing neckline and sleeves using knit binding, fold over elastic or stretch trim.

This dress is fitted at bodice to natural waist and has a full circle skirt for a loose hip fit.

Being the size of a baby elephant, fitting clothing isn’t easy to find. Having been born with two left hands, fitting clothing isn’t easy to make either. I somehow managed not to mess up (or the pattern was forgiving enough) to make it look pretty fantastic! It’s one of the patterns I feel good in despite the extra weight and I wear it proudly whenever I can.
The pattern itself is written in a way that even I mostly understood the points and pretty much fit perfectly despite my rather abundant top. Though I really need to add a little bit of length next time.

Love this pattern! I was a little reluctant to try sewing a dress because of my measurements, hourglass and 6’2, but this turned out perfect. Would recommend this to anyone and if you need it to be a bit longer just make the skirt a half circle skirt.
